What this service does

DroidSquad is a community marketplace that helps Android developers satisfy Google Play's 12-tester / 14-day closed testing requirement (which applies to personal developer accounts created after Nov 2023). The service runs on reciprocity: developers test other developers' apps to earn DroidCoin, then spend that DroidCoin when their own app is ready to ship.

For developers

• Community path (free): post a campaign and the indie dev community opts in over ~48 hours. No subscription, no platform fees. Sustained by reciprocity — you earn DroidCoin by testing other devs' apps, then spend it on your own campaign.
• Expedited path ($5): our dedicated dev pool fulfills your campaign in ~24 hours. One-off payment per campaign, optional.
• Tester delivery target: 12 verified testers with ≥80% engagement across the 14-day window. We don't guarantee a specific count beyond that minimum.
• You warrant that your app complies with Google Play policies. We don't accept apps that violate Play Store guidelines.
• Refund policy (expedited path only): full refund if our dev pool fails to deliver 12 testers within 24h. Email [email protected]. Rejections caused by your own app (crashes, policy violations, invalid opt-in URL) are not refundable.

For testers

• Real Android device + real Google account required.
• Automated accounts, emulators, or duplicates → account termination.
• DroidCoin is not cash. It's internal points, only spendable on testers for your own future campaigns. Not transferable, not exchangeable, no monetary value.
• Earn ~700 DroidCoin per completed campaign (14 days of check-ins, ≥80% engagement). Bans on: >20% campaign failure rate, detected fraud, Google Play policy violation.

Prohibited uses

• Circumventing Google Play policies (tester farms, fake installs)
• Testing apps that violate Play Store guidelines
• Reverse-engineering or abusing the platform
• Selling or transferring DroidCoin between accounts (it has no cash value and is bound to the earning account)

Liability

Service provided as-is. We don't guarantee Google will approve your app — we only deliver tester sessions. Liability capped at fees paid in the prior 12 months, or USD $50, whichever is greater. We are not liable for app rejections, missed launch deadlines, or losses arising from third-party services (Google Play, Resend, Cloudflare).

Account termination

You can delete your account anytime by emailing [email protected]. We may terminate accounts for the violations listed above; in that case unspent DroidCoin is forfeited.

Changes to these terms

Material changes will be announced via email + the in-app notification surface at least 14 days before they take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change.
